Ok, so my BB is starting to jam.

My friend said i could use WD40 to clean it, so i googled it and it said it can destroy ABS plastic. but my SRC isn't really ABS plastic it's a stronger material.

would it still be ok to use??

no. absolutly not.

keep oil based lubricants away from airsoft guns, use a silicone based one instead.

dependent on what you are lubricanting, get one of these three.

Silicon spray is best.

KEEP WD40 THE F*CK AWAY FROM YOUR GAT

Dose your freind even play airsoft??

I dont know anyone that thinks the its ok to use WD40 on a airsoft rifle

If your BB's are jamming you need to clean your barrel (i do mine once a month)

get your cleaning rod that came with the rifle get a small bit of rag (kitchen roll dose the job if you dont have a rag but i wouldnt recomend it)

Thread the rag through the looped end and stick it down the flash hider (make sure you have set your hop-up to all the way down so you dont damage it)

What i do with me m4 is feild strip it (break it open) take out the inner barrel and clean it that way this means a i know it is cleaned properly and i can look down it safely

Thanks

Jack

Ok thanks.

And yes my friend does do airsoft and he said actionhobbies told him it was alright to use :|

Could it mess up my gun after one time using it??

WD40 will eat your Hop rubber and destroy the nylon parts of your GB if it can get in there. Silicon spray, silicon grease and white lithium grease are the only lubes I use on my guns.
