M92 safety feature

I’m new to airsoft and When the safety is on I still seem to be able to engage the trigger a couple of times before the safety works ..... is this normal ?

Please don’t take it the wrong way bud , but what would make you query when a safety catch is engaged and it doesn’t stop the trigger from work that this ‘could’ be normal ? Generally (from my experience anyway) the whole point of any safety catch is to stop a mechanical action from happening wouldn’t you agree ?
