M4 Z-Rail

On my travels on the internet I have come across this lovely bit of kit. Would be very useful for my M4A1 as I don't want to replace the whole handguard.

I can see kind of how it works but I can't find a photo of it attached the AEG. Anyone got any ideas?

It just screws through the hole in the carry handle.

King arms make one

G&G do a slightly different looking one which I think looks quite cool

Thanks man, big help. I know it's simple but I couldn't find a description online anywhere!

I agree the G&G one looks better. Do you know if you need a rail on the top of the handguard or does it screw into that aswell?

I've seen people running them with regular hand guards, with no rail on the top of them, but it does leave quite a large gap, so I'd be surprised if it was solidly stable.

I fully fail to see the point of them though, if you have RIS you already have rail space at the front and if you want RIS at the rear, just take the carry handle off =\ I think they look monumentally hideous as well, but that's just me.

My M4 is like the 1 in the photo. I have just bought a rail for the lower or top handguard as it wasn't an R.I.S system out the box. This is a definate maybe.
