Looking for 1st event

So I'm on the hunt for my first event, I live in West London with good access to the m4, I tried to use the map from the link on the newcomers forum but the link is dead

Having a look online ambush Cobham seems like my most accessible site, has anyone had experience there? Reviews seem fairly good but I plan to get my ukara so I don't want to go somewhere I won't enjoy. 

If anyone lives somewhat close and has some suggestions that would be great, I have a car but would ideally like to keep travel time reasonable!
