LiPo or LiFe??

I appreciate the differences and benefits of a LiFe over a LiPo but will they use the same charger?

Will depend on the charger but strictly speaking no i don't think so.

Most lipo chargers have a switch for doing a Life at the least though.

3.3v vs 3.7v, most balance chargers will do both, i know B6 does as soon as you select the voltage, life less prone to over/under charging killing them, no scare stories of them exploding etc, yet
