I now posess Lipo battery 7.4v but need help getting a charger as to which one would be most suitible any advice would be appriciated

There are a few to chose from the most popular seem to be the -max B6 or the Tunrnigy accucel(google or Ebay)

Both easy to use if you read the instructions also they come with most if not all the leads you need but not always with a power supply.

The far and away most important thing about the charger you get for your LiPo is that it must be a BALANCE charger

Not really, plenty of people never bother balancing their LiPo's and they don't have problems.

The important part is that it is specifically a LiPo charger, and that it has automatic cut off.
