Ics mp5 gearbox compatability

So got a JG MP5k with the upper receiver that's cracked do decided to convert it to an A2. And bought a ICS receiver not realising the MP5K had V3 gearBox not a v2. So anyway can't find an ics v2 shell for love nor money so I want to know is there any issues with using some other manufactures v2 shell?

Asked a tech who used to work on these. A standard V2 should work as long as there is not too much reinforcement at the front as it's quite a tight fit.
