Gearbox question

I've seen loads of airsoft aeg's with v2 gearbox's.. What's the difference between v2 and normal and I've seen v3 aswell, i take it thats better than v2??

Different guns use different gearboxes, because of the shape of them.

M4/M16 series use V2 gearboxes, G36s and AK series use V3, M14s use V7. There are quite a lot of different gearboxes..

It's probably something someone should put all in one thread someday...
