g36 kv

Hi all

I have an src g36 kv and want to remove the outer barrel to put a silencer on it like the kv tactical. After taking hand guard off I can't seem to remove the outer part I see where it joinsnear body but just don't know how to remove it and dont want to break anything any help would be great. I've looked on web but came up with zip

Doesnt the silencer fit where the flash hider sits?

If so, theres a grub screw in the side of the flash hider, unscrew it a little and turn the flash hider to unscrew.

If you do need to take out the whole outer barrel. You need to take out three screws just near the handguard you have removed and it should pull out.

No not the flash that comes off ok, it's the outer barrel thats the problem as I want to add a silencer to end where it comes off, I'll give that a try

All ok now sorted it out the outer barel was screwed on took a bit to undo as it had what looked like some sort of thread lock just need to buy a nice long silencer now
