I'm having trouble setting up burst fire modes. I'm holding down the trigger whilst on single fire mode and the MOSFET doesn't emit the beep sound after 10 seconds like it's supposed to do so.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or what the issue might be? Any help would be appreciated

You need to hold the empty magazine cut off catch in mag well while you are doing it. If that catch isn't held the trigger is effectivly dead. 

Sequence;

Put selector to auto, finger into mag well to hold switch down, pull ans hold trigger. Once it does the beep thing then release trigger and cutoff switch.
