would overtightening the hop up drop the power ie restricting the bbs exit lol cheers o its brand new had it crono at AWA today at 170fps should be 320 ish fps

not by that much - the bb's would be way way curling upwards like a fighter jet taking off

or jamming like the Bob Marley printer at work....

if you tear up the bucking or hop unit slipped forward might explain low fps

tbh if it is new send it back - retailer should have checked/chrono'd prior to shipping it
