G&G hop up unit

Hi guys anyone know what the gap is inside the hop up isView attachment 6300 i have never seen this before

in my guns it almost looks as though somthing is missing

the hop up is from a G&G TR16 top tech

I'm on a phone so can't quite see, where abouts are we talking about? Above the feed point?

yes above the feed point mate

its a small hole inside the unit and above where the air nozle sits
