Can anyone ID this firearm?
I was watching an episode of the BBC documentary Caribbean and Simon Reeve the presenter spent time with a special police unit in the Dominican Republic. They were using the sub gun pictured below, but I don’t know what it is. It looks like a cross between an MP5 and a Sig of some sort. I was wondering if it was a Brazilian or South African built knockoff. In the program you can see that the charging handle is on the right side but it’s possible from the picture that it was originally under the Sig style handguard as there appears to be a hole where the original MP5 charging handle would have been.
