Eotech 552 or 556 Holo sights

hi, Im looking for a scope to sit on my G36c. There are so many scopes and sights about with various prices and possibly dubious quality that im getting a bit lost.

I quite like the idea of a holographic sight such Eotech 552 or 556 clones.

Does anybody here use these and if so what do you think of them? Do they actually make targetting better or are they just a gimmick? As far as price goes do the £50-£60 versions do the job or do i need to spend more?

I have a 552 clone that I got "buy it now" for £23 on ebay from china. took about 10 days to arrive. I put it on the top rail in place of the M4 carry handle/ironsight and it was perfect out of the box. The rounds end up wherever the centre of the reticule shows.

It was ridiculously accurate and easy to target objects/players.

Also, as I use a face mask I found it difficult with the standard M4 iron sight to line the front sight into the middle of the rear sight to get the correct target picture. Now, it doesn't matter if I can just see the reticule, the round still goes where it shows.

In addition to that, because you can aim through it with both eyes open, you don't shut down your peripheral vision when acquiring a target. That comes in handy if your target has a wingman.

I can't recommend it highly enough. Completely changed my game.
