Hey guys. I recently got a Gp-25 from a friend as part of a deal. He claims to literally only have fired it once and im quite inclined to beleive him as it was an extra on top of the gun. I have tried to fire it countless times but the piece of crap keeps slipping the shell out and not firing. I had a look inside the thing and realised what a piss poor design it was. I found a tutorial online on how to fix the problem: https://www.red-alliance.net/forum/index.php?topic=28087.0

I have removed material until the bar is approx 1.5mm thick and it still wont grip onto a gassed shell and fire it, time and time again it just popps out. The gun actually fires without the barrel on it surprisingly.

Is there anything else i can do to fix this, or is this thing just a useless paperweight and should punt it at earliest conveninece? Its a damn shame as i was planning on getting TAG rounds for this... Ive had an idea to take out the ejector which by default pulls the hook back further than it should be and drill a hole in the side and use a pin on a keyhook to press the hook in instead of using the little ejector. Any brainwaves from owners of Dboys GP-25s?
