Cybergun FAMAS Evo questions

Looking for advice before buying first AEG. Currently looking to get the Cybergun FAMAS Evo, but wondered if anyone could help me with a few questions?

• Do TM magazines mid- and hi-cap work in the Cybergun FAMAS?
  
• Will an 11.1v LiPo knacker the gearbox?
  
• For casual, once-every-month-or-two play, would a smaller battery be a better call, or will that just be frustrating?
