Convert FG42 to Airsoft

Have seen a YOU Tube video of a Shoei replica FG42 converted to an AEG airsoft . Does anyone know how to do it ? Need instruction & list of components etc..

i suspect the technical limitations are going to be significantly less than the legal limitations.

as in taking something that qualifies as "a gun" and turning it into something that is "not a gun" without the full blown de-activation process.

of course i'm talking about the uk here, your milage may vary depending on where you are in the world.
