I've recently started airsofting again and have just disassembled my 9 year old Classic Army M15 SPC, as a result am replacing a fair amount of the gearbox parts.

While doing this I am keen to replace the solid stock with a sliding stock, I don't need a massive battery and would prefer the gun to be a bit shorter. My only concern is;

  • Once disassembled I am a bit concerned that the lower half of the body may not be compatible with a screw in stock pipe (I may have the wrong end of the stick here) as there is a protruding metal piece (see image below)

  • I am also struggling to find a UK retailer that sells a crane stock, battery and stock pipe. I have seen a number on ebay but don't really want to buy a cheap and nasty stock for an otherwise nice rifle.

Any responses appreciated!

Don't worry. Nearly all M4/M16 AEG rifles have that protruding part on the receiver.

The stock tube slides over this with a fake nut already attached. The Stock tube screws into the back of the gearbox in a similar way to the full sized stock.

Thanks

Thanks, any recommendations on places to get them in the uk?
