could anyone please advise me on a good pair of boots (durable, comfy etc) for a reasonable price i see alot for around the £100 mark but figure there must be good ones for less money than that

thanks

Try to get a pair of Original S.W.A.T boots. Thats what I have and from google it looks like they sell them for around 60 pounds in the UK.

British Assault Boots. These are what I wear, been using them for about 3 months now I've always found them comfy.
I would say assault boots are a hit or miss. They are mass produced for the army so either they fit your foot right or they dont (my mrs got some and it took ages to break them in properly).

Me, well i been through a lot of boots. Had some german standard issue Kampfstiefeln, but after a year of wearing every day they were pretty much bald underneath.

I went the extra mile and bought these:

And s***, they used to be £140, dammit, I overpaid, theyre £99 now...

Read the specs, they are mental. And yea, probably OTT for my use, but they are incredibly comfortable, warm but not sweaty, goretex waterproof etc. and the steel cap is nice.

I would reccomend any Magnum though, it looks like that site has reduced prices significantly so go get em! (good site btw ordered from them lots of times)
