hey what's the Best aks74n i can get in my budget, ideally i want all steel and wood furniture, stock in the uk right now or even better used.idealy i want a few mags and few batteries for under £300 but i can maybe push it to £350 to £400 max. now going to start building a 10th ukrainian infantry milsim loadout so on a tight budget.

I can only comment on mine, a cyma krinkov. Got it second hand from here for 140 i think with 5 mags I love it, but I don't use it a lot. Good rate of fire, a bit noisy but accurate. It's 7.4v, and takes thin stick batteries which are less common and don't fit my other rifs. I'm told it can run on 11.4v but never tried it. One battery will last a morning, but not a full day. Seems to like .25s or .28 BBS.
The few who have borrowed it like it, but the kids find it a bit heavy. It's had a steel barrel and an upgraded bucking. I've never opened it up, as its never me down. One day I'd like the wooden pistol grip to match.
Few lads at the site I use have the plastic AKs, and they seem to rate mine higher.
Not sure if that's any help mate.

Do you want a GBBR or AEG?
AEG will fit your budget better due to the cost of mags.

All things considered i think you're best to just watch the classifieds for something to turn up. I highly doubt you'd get a new one in the spec you want with mags and batteries for under 400.

I bought my Marui AKS-74N off the classifieds here, with 8 mags, for within your budget, so deals do crop up from time to time.

Get your ukara sorted, then buy a RIF, then join a milsim team.

Out of interest, is the Milsim team purely RUSFOR?
i'm stupid i know but i thought i was happy with my gun so wasnt no need to ask for a ukara.the team i want to start playing with are Shvydko is an English airsoft group to authentically representing the Ukrainian Armed Forces, particularly the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade that does MILSIM events

If they're authentically representing Ukrainian armed forces, the 74u is an odd choice. It was as helicopter pilot last ditch PDW for the Soviets in Afghanistan, and they hated it.
