my mate is going for the deathstroke look i will be painting it over the weekend i will post picture when done but i need idea's for me

Not what I was thinking, Suz, but it's not bad. There is an obvious colour difference between the paint + holes in the mesh and the paint on the plastic mask though. I was thinking of something like a zigzag dark shape that the dark eyes disappear into. Here is a really bad interpretation of it...

...if you imagine the brown being black, the light green being brown, and organic shapes, cross bleed, subtle variations, thin twiglike strips, you know... good camo :lol:

Don't get me wrong i like the deadpool look but first of the rivalry is between deadshot and deathstroke <--DC deadpool<--Marvel

but my name is gonna be shadow or ghost or something so thinking in the regions of that

oooo how about painting the mask matt black and then putting a gloss black skull on it? Or maybe doing some kind of ghosted outline in very dark grey or a pale silvery kind of colour?

no man it won't need primer i have checked the only primer i would need would be white or grey which i dont wont

if you're painting onto a hard plastic you'll need a primer. It's not there to give you a base colour, it's there for the paint to stick to.

If you're using automotive paint, you'll still need a primer. It will stick without it but it won't last as long before it chips off.

Actually....if you've scuffed up the gel coat it will probably be ok. Personally I'd still primer it though. What colour will the design be?

well one's going to be half orange and half black.

OK, if the masks are black to start with then the Grendel one would only need white primer in the same areas you'll be painting (the eyes) the Deathstroke one is probably going to need a grey primer. Will you be clearcoating it afterwards?

epic mask, but dont you find they steam up inside get all wet?

oooh, only just noticed the lenses on that mask are solid... that's gonna steam up like a BITCH!

My Killer Mask has mesh eyes but it still gets wet inside. More from breath than sweat, so TBF what I really mean is it gets coated with spittle inside whenever I breath heavily. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarvly!

there mess eye's on mine the first pics are idea's and i might clear cloat it but im not sure and if needs be i will driill small holes inouth bit but i will upload pics when they are both done
