Use MACRO mode on your camera. It should be a button with a picture of a little flower. Enables close up focusing.

That, is s sheared cut off lever. I replaced mine not a week ago. £12 posted from HK.

Oh, my bad.

I have absolutely no idea what that is then :huh:

My first thought was its the selector switch/safety but without holding it and having a look its hard to tell!
