AEP Battery conversion

I know kits can be bought for the TM MP7... but I was wondering if the same kits made by Nineball/Laylax would also work, albeit modified- because they use the same batteries?

Thinking about beefing the ROF and trigger response of an ASG scorpion vz61 by these means... although, if it's not possible I might look into using some wiring and solder!
