There’s nothing you need to do. Leave it stock. The slide is made of a carbon fibre polymer so it will survive indefinitely as long as you’re not putting high powered gas through it. I’d suggest something like ultrair or abbey ultra in summer and regular green gas if it’s very cold in winter.

Small update: The g19 frame accepts G17.5 Magwell. I’ve tried 3 of them and most of them need slight modification to the Magwell so it doesn’t press on the magazine. Also, the plight PL-X fits nicely on the G45/G19
