If your gun has 14mm threads it will be possible to mount any tracer suppressor to it, without using a specific QD suppressor. I had a similar problem with a mate's SRC M4 a while back. It turned out one of the guide rails for the trigger contact had snapped, you'd have to look to know it was broken. Remove all the innards and inspect the gearbox case.
