My cheap midcaps work fine after clearing the first 20ish or 80% fill, but my new MAG ones only fire 2-3 every 10ish shoots

No all I have is the hicap, cheap midcaps and my new expensive midcaps

That sadly doesn't make any difference, there is very little movement due to the tight fit

When I use the hicap that came with the gun, I have no trouble what so ever

No the hop up stays in one place

So I just tried what you said and yes the hop up does spring back into place, thanks for the input, any other ideas?
