  • May have royally pissed off one of my "tutors", if you can even call them that.

Explained that I felt the module was a waste of time and akin to primary school work.

Fair enough, can't imagine that going down too well then :P

Yeah, I think I shook her nerves so much that in passing the message on to her colleague and bitching about me, she also sent it to me in the form of a reply.

    Not particularly professional.

She also lied about a meeting time we agreed.

Ready to rip the dumb bitch apart.

So my Uni lot have started getting their UKARA now, so far we've got 4 G&G M4s, a VFC SCAR L and a G&P Mk.46 added to the groups armoury. I taught them well... :')

Those M4s are horrible. guy at my local has one that has a box mag and runs 11v lipos :/

He would be my only target all day.

There's a point where the sheer homosexualness of a gun can completely negate it's killing potential.

God, Nick and I know someone with two :o

I know there's licensing issues and stuff but ICS could at least've made their 416ish things look relatively acceptable.

    New video is up:

I think it's great, the reticule on the ACOG is clear and crisp as anything, 4x zoom is handy for distinguishing targets better at range and for ranging shots and making adjustments.

Red dot is configurable and practically parallax free, at F&O on Sunday I used the dot more than the ACOG.

    A
    Airsoft-Ed
Only bad thing is that the dot has an auto adjust brightness sensor, the brighter the light, the brighter the dot.

Which is good in most instances, but if you're playing a lot of urban/cqb then you'll realise as I did on Sunday, that if you're sat in the dark looking into the light, the red dot isn't there...

Good job there's an ACOG attached lol.

Lol. Didnt get to a point where you had to shine a torch on yourself just to be able to aim :P Another thing to add to the list for when the university bursary comes in :D

Basically had my upper lip exploded at The Asylum today, as well as someone shooting my Contour lens cover to pieces, tainting the footage from about 2 3rds of the videos I took =[ It was an awesome day though, love the site! :P

Great site. Love defending the village in the middle. Apart from the time i snuck up behind someone and forgot the bolt was locked back :/

I never had the chance to get to the village area, always got stuck defending the other 3 buildings.

We just placed two massive 3.5hr games too, which I rather liked.

Though it did making cutting up my footage quite difficult.

Been barred from getting on our coach for having RIFs in our luggage <_< This is becoming a gigantic farse already and we've not even gone anywhere yet.

They're all bagged up and everything, we've done it all right. But my mate's got an ACU rifle bag and they asked what was in it. I knew lying would look bad if they found out, so we came clean and they just straight up said no.

...again, one of the reasons I use a discrete bag for my rif ^^

    Airsoft-Ed
    Yeah. Lesson learned... :(

We ended up getting the train, gonna look into a refund for the coach tomorrow.

All packed up for my airsoft road trip. 5 bags between 3 people... Looks like we're going for a fortnight lol.

12G blank + garden = "Welcome to deaf street" haha, took me by surprise and blew a crater in the snow the size of my head.

There is some question about legality. As there is a decibel limit for using commercial fireworks in your home. Im pretty sure its above that limit. Its good fun either way. Set 1 off, parents come running out their home and usher all their kids inside... Oppps.

    Airsoft-Ed
Well, thus far I've not had anyone complain or had the rozzers around or anything, so it's all good.

TBH the internals arn't that important for AIPSC, although it does have a short stroke buffer. All the custom CNC stuff is where the real price hits home though.

But, I doubt a person can react fast enough to actually aim and fire a gun faster than a standard airsoft pistol would already allow.

I can understand making it more accurate, maybe also altering the ergo to make it easier to point at things.

But aside from that, every upgrade you can add is just going to offer a placebo effect, at best. I'd have thought, anyway.

Should give it a go ed. I was cutting my time to nearly 10 seconds on a course we were running. Guy with a custom £900 did manage to go to 6 seconds, although he did have a fair bit of experience. (courses change each time though so you only get the hour or so to learn it)

Anyone at The Asylum on Sunday? I'll be heading there for my first ever visit - well excited! :P

yer man i'll be there on the 17th see you there :)

Well, as I thought, my sniper is going to need a lot of upgrades... A few mods to improve the feeding mech an magazines too. Bloody Ares.

    A
    Airsoft-Ed
    ...bolt assembly.

Trigger mech looks like it could be complicated and I'm not at home at the mo and don't want to risk losing any bits and taking the bolt down any further is just unnecessary as there's nothing I can do with it anyway.

    sounds very fun!

    Airsoft-Ed
Yes Tariq lol, all in fact, from what I've heard.

But generally not because bits of them break lol.

I was prepared for the need to upgrade though, getting the parts is just a matter of time.

Everything's here! My new sniper weighs a freakin' ton! D= My L85 feels like an ideal CQB gun in comparison haha.

    A
    Airsoft-Ed
The weight is almost entirely forward of the hop unit... So it's like holding a minimi with both arms out stretched.

Weighs about 6.5/7kg with the scope on and mag in.

So not as much as a SAW, but the weight makes you feel it a lot more.

Not to mention you have to juggle the weight in one arm whilst you cock the spring back, which isn't particularly light either.

    TPI

Nick! try wielding the SAW with one hand like a Pistol, That is what he's feeling Nick do you even lift? Mine felt like a Toy in the weight Department it was so light! i could one hand it for 4 whole minute's upon which my wrist would give in and i wouldn't be able to use my hand for 3 hour's -_- wonder how long i could do it for now....

God I had to do that in a Hold the flag game, ended up using my knee as a makeshift gun cradle, properly wrecked.

But yeah, I Have genuinely been reading your name as Nickonia, my dyslexia has a habit of adding extra vowels in places they shouldn't be :/
