I am indeed! What can I help with? Or did you want a sneak peek at the new AKs? View attachment 55063
The one series 416s are really good. Solid externals and good no nonsense gear box. If you wanted to wait a few weeks, the entire lineup of EDGE series of 416s are going to be revealed with prices and specs within 2-3 weeks.
Balls to that - Lewis gimme AKs!! Happy to field test some at a Cold War or Vietnam event - could be a good advertising piece for Specna
@Asomodai - no bullpups on the agenda so far (I'm pushing for a Trevor). And the only other news after the AKs is the Edge version of the "H-Series" (416s mentioned above). And the AKs with a V3 Aster-style ETU mosfet
Depends what you're planning to do with it really.. The Edge 416 will be better if you're planning on leaving it alone. The gearbox will have the nicer flourishes and the Gate mosfet already installed. The One Series 416 will be a good shout if you're planning on upgrading a lot of the internals. The differences outside of the gearbox are the coated receivers on the edge range, and the painted receivers on the One series. The Edge receivers feel similar to a Cerakote.
@Robert James Turns out the new 416s are going to be Edge 2.0 models, so improved on the original Edge M4s. One new feature is a high torque motor as standard, as the stock Specna motor can be quite breathless at times.
