I own one never used it yet but it's incredibly clear when looking through it and I've looked through the 1-6 vortex (which was also incredibly clear) if you get one get the honey comb flash kill for bb protection. I paid £70 for mine from a UK seller no scope rings bit did come with the honeycomb ring. My friends was £66~ from china with rings and flash kill but he needed higher rings anyway and it took like 7 weeks. 

The biggest argument I hear for using them is not for target acquisition but bb trajectory tracking to get on target. 

I need to get rid of an M4 before that though.

First Focal Plane, incredibly clear optics, 1-4 is arguably more useful than 1.25-5 and it's cheaper.

I have one and it's lovely, comes with scope rings too.
