I use an FRV Tailoring Shooters Belt and its superb for the money. Easily as good as other solutions I've tried. Certain;ly wouldn't look to swap it and probably going to order another one to set up for shotgunning/cqb.

I use the FRV shooters belt too. Like it a lot no complaints but not tried others to compare.

2 pistol mags, 1 rifle mag, 1 holster, 1 useless rolly polly and 1/2 small utilities for random stuff like phone, bb loader and pistol bbs..

I'm done with tons of shit on the belt.

I want something really slim and rigid, or if it's padded it has to stay in place without "external" retention like leg straps or harnesses.

Mine FRV is currently set up with 2 fast mags, a double 1911 kydex mag pouch, hsgi mag net, trmr clip, small biner for my gloves and there's still a fair amount of space, I could easily drop a single ring Kywi/Taco onto it with no snags.

It mounts onto a velcro inner belt so providing your trousers stay up it'll stay in place and its solid enough not to fold with a high ride mounted pistol platform on the other side.

What about the OPS shooters belt? same cost as the FRV one but laser cut.

@clumpyedge I mentioned that above and was greeted with tumbleweed. They're great though. I've got one.

Can't find one in stock though.

It's either that or the Helikon one.

The frv is more expensive and it may take an indefinite amount of time to get here, which is not ideal..

EDIT: in theory both the Helikon and OPS come at €90 and change shipped, 92 and 91 iirc, but the OPS one comes from HK, that means I'll have to pay customs and extra, while the Helikon gets delivered within 48h (sometimes 24)..

Leaning towards the Helikon for now..

Hueys stock the ops belts

Do you not feel ironic using 'Hueys' and 'stock' in the same sentence? Every time I look on their website everything is out of stock.

@hunter511 not really, maybe I'm just lucky that the things I want/need are in stock and if they aren't I just ask Matt when they are due in and place a back order

There is ONE belt in stock, a multicam one in size small.

Considering how disgustingly fat I am (1.75m x 95kg), I don't think it'll fit me :P

I guess I'll either wait for the ops to get back in stock or buy the Helikon.

After all it has to travel to the other side of Europe .-.
