Its cqb - you will get shot at very close ranges. Wear full face protection. Sometimes it hurts and you see red but if you are routinely getting angry past a few deep breaths and a count to 20 you NEED to find a new hobby!!! Chap at 3.30 or so who is bleeding from the face is a total gentleman and many could learn from his cool as a cucumber shit. ?
he is shooting upwards in to a stair well he can't aim lower otherwise he can't shoot over the people to shoot the people behind them. I think he puts too many rounds out sometimes but he isn't intentionally aiming for heads just unlucky with him aiming upwards as he is trying to look up the stairs.
head shots are discouraged and only supposed to be taken if you can't see anything else at the site. TBH if it wasn't Jet one of those guys is a marshal and would of probably flipped out at getting shot in the face for a standard player but it wasn't malicious it was just quick reactions as you get in CQB.
At every briefing at the Depot, they say "Full face protection is required for under 18s and recommended for everyone else. If you choose not to wear it, don't come crying to us about losing a tooth." Usually with a few fruity expletives. There is no surrender or bang rule there, and you will regularly get shot point blank.
Aside, I nearly had a sense of humour failure about a milsim team on Sunday who were, I accept, genuinely not feeling hits through their layers of plate carriers and gear. Normal lulz were resumed when one of them popped his head above cover 5 feet away and I put a bleeder right in his tacticooly unprotected face.
I guess because the only thing I can see is the head, I have no other choice than to take the shot (or let the guy slip away, but that's not really an option, is it? ). But if I have the choice, I'd rather go for a painful belly shot (especially when it's not covered by anything) than the head.
I'm sure desert doesn't mind getting shot in the face upclose because he actually wears face protection. Also why are you feeling bad shooting someone's teeth out for the reason being that you could have prevented it? THEY could have prevented it by wearing a mask.
This always happens. People bitch about getting shot in the face, frame it as a safety issue, then admit to doing it themselves 'if its the only target' as if that somehow makes it safer.
It is a safety concern, even if legally it's the guy's fault for not running a face mask. Getting a tooth shot out ruins your day, regardless of who's fault it is.
2 distinct cases, already argued.
You still don't get the point.
Also, nice try.
Please quote where I said I'm not ok with being shot in the face.
But he should also wear full face too
