^funny i was just about the same.
i suspect the reason most don't is because there's just not enough space, or maybe the space is more effectively utilised as additional reservoir rather than as an expansion chamber.
i do note that hicapa mags seem to have very long fill valves that take up about half the mag capacity, possibly it's to ensure the mag is only ever half liquid when filled?
