1 of them is charging the other now. I had them in a storage charge at 50% Same behaviour between both of them. Reseated motor wires same results. Dry fire or with a magazine same results.
Make sure the battery is charged and check no wires were pinched. If that is all good try again with the mag in and loaded.
If it carries on pop out the spring guide and spring and then give it a tap to see if any debris falls out. If not reseat the spring and guide and retest. Sometimes that has been known to clear it as the 2 beeps can be it detecting an issue in the mech box.
If that does not solve it send it back as all the other things to check require opening it up and that voids the warranty. The evo is great gun but finicky to work on.
Thanks for the advice gave it a go nothing came out. Looks like a feeding issue bbs get stuck up there but the gun feels like it's on full auto when it's on semi.
Might have a jammed bb, the evo midcaps also can feed like shit when overfilled I always filled to 75. If there is one stuck then it just needs clearing but that involves a bit of disassembly to remove barrel and hop.
It's a frustrating thing to diagnose so emailing jd was probably the right call for you. Hope you get it sorted as the Evo is a great little gun (when working).
If you have the problem with knocking the ambi fire selector give me a shout as I probably still have some modified switches somewhere.
