They will work with any BBs, but only tracer BBs will absorb the light and "glow in the dark".

Like Sacarathe says: Need special BBs for them to light up.

ASG ones suck, im yet to try the G&G ones but i cant find any in the weights i want

Why do Asg ones suck? Fired thousands and never had any issues.

Nuprol RZR are worth a try. Shot about 8000 0.25 red and they have been really good.

BAWs on the other hand - well they were lovely and bright, but very inaccurate for me. Plus they disintegrated too easily on impact for my liking.. I was terrified of hitting someone wearing mesh in the face.
