It's a 20 min drive compared to a 1+hr drive but woodland just doesn't look my cup of my tea because I like the fast paced style of cqb

Agree 100% CQB is so much better than woodland.

I find woodland will often degenerate into people flinging plastic at each other from 50 yards while only one or two people try and actually move.
