If we're going down the child sex offences route... we should start deporting Christians. The Catholic church covered it up for decades.

Can't deport Christians though, they're not brown.

See this is the problem you cannot bring up the acts of a minority without some fucktard jumping down your throat with WELL WHAT ABOUT THIS THIS & THIS...how much media coverage did jimmy saville and his ilk get..when they finally got caught..a day..a week..a month..now how much did the rotherham lot get..not much..why because the people commiting the crime were BROWN & followed the "religion of peace"

Because they are a minority inside a minority! Plus this is the real world, if you can't take someone challenging your claims then god help you.

Also Sitting Duck, that article you posted - It again has bugger all to do with the EU. IF they are actually true, it's the decisions of local or government organizations!

its not a claim..its a fact..and one people are quick to defend with well white people have done this this and this..as if thats some sort of defence for the acts..and its not a minority in a minority they were all pakistani immigants..and the council & police covered it up..over 1400 girls..CHILDREN were sexually assaulted & raped...over a 10+ year period..in one town alone..but hey jimmy saville did some terrible things many years ago so its alright -_-

They were not ALL the Pakistani Immigrants that came into the country though... Or even that town. Can I also just take this moment to point out that Pakistan was nowhere near the borders of the EU last time I looked. There are some f*cked up humans from all walks of life and all regions of the world. You need to stop labelling all members of a group as being guilty of the crimes of a small minority. And again - as you pointed out - 'the council & police covered it up'- not the EU...

I've said I'm out on this matter, and that is that. You carry on but I'm not getting drawn into it any more

Well this went down the pooper and turned into anecdotes pretty quickly. Pats on the back all round I say - no one is better off for basically anything said in these status comments.

I may have caused a s***storm as they say.

Or in the manor of this post, a fecesstorm

If we just agree, people have their own arguments with strengths and weaknesses, that'll be the best way forward.

Except of course some arguments are relevant to the EU... and some aren't.

Pakistani immigrants abusing children, while obviously awful isn't ANYTHING TO DO with the EU referendum. Literally NOTHING to do with it.

Fair enough, that's true. In all honesty, I didn't read all 67 posts.

Do we have the right to eject criminals that have come in through immigration? if the answer is no then has everything to do with foreign criminals & the EU referendum :-)

Politics has to be debated, its the only way you get to see and understand both sides of an argument and get to grips with it. None of the participants are likely to change there mind, two have already said as much, but others will potetnially read this who are undecided and then go away and do there own research on the argument and form their own views as a result.

b1n0gHo5t, what makes you think that our policy on deporting people to Pakistan will be any different after an exit from the EU. The only stopper on that is the European Court of Human Rights, WHICH WE WILL STILL BE BOUND BY. Leaving the EU won't stop us being bound by the European Convention on Human Rights which we signed on to in 1959. That's like suggesting if we leave the EU we can disregard the Geneva Convention.

Do your research.

I've done enough research to know i want out the EU i dont want more of the same..waiting for the day to come when turkey finally gets in so if you could respect my right to vote leave i'll do the same to your vote to remain

BBrotherwood
BBrotherwood
You do realise that Turkey coming in is off the cards for a fair while yet now?

BBrotherwood
BBrotherwood
The whole point of the EU is to expand the market, Turkey joining is not a bad thing, just not in the state its in now. The EU is picky about who it lets join and if a country does not like a certain country joining, they can veto it.
