Are they grub screws? or hex socket screws?

1.5mm allen head screws, quite long, they screw into the rear sight.

There should also be a small philips head screw (about 4mm long) in that front hole on the housing frame.

Cheers for the help guys. Just need to find a 1.5mm allen key from somewhere.

Socket cap screws is the correct term.

Buy a quality set of allen keys (spend about £10+) or the heads will round off quickly. Worth buying as you need them all the time in chairsofting.

You can get ones that have one at each end. I've found the ball heads to be good for grub screws in hops and the like, but you're right in that they wear a lot lot faster.

I mean one at one end* (not the other). Suppose levrage becomes a little bit of an issue though.

The reason you'll have used the ball ones for grub screws is that they're usually further in to the object and traditionally the ball end is on the long part of an L shaped allen key. a decent set of drivers with enough reach allows much finer adjustment ;)

Fair enough

Just buy a set of Bondhus allen keys they are ball ended on the long arm and wont round off easily. My current set is 10yrs old and still going strong.
