uhm - was it actually put back ?? the ak thingy 58 would have the ar$e of receiver kind of holding it in place but maybe not so compressed - might explain why a m100 = 285fps ?
I should have stuck with my gut instinct and just avoided anything with 'Ares' on it. What a f*cking joke this thing has been.
Oh I'm always doing that crap, remove bits. take off that bit, out to garage, file here sand there, right lets reassemble it back.... WTF ??? find it 1hr later next to kettle or tv remote - eh?
I've gone through 4 rooms and every box/container I've used today without luck. Emailed Ares directly to see about a replacement part, but I'm not holding out any hope. Absolutely fuming right now.
Okay...FINALLY sorted. It's all back in one piece aaaaaand I've sorted the FPS & over-bore problem. It's now doing around 345fps, with a (so far) max of 348; a bit higher than I'd like but at this point, it'll do...not going into it again! If you want a job done right and all that...
tee hee it wasn't me that put in the kitchen but before you blame wife/kids think back carefully as to your footsteps going out to get that new spring... putting it somewhere safe so you don't lose it perhaps ?
No, it was definitely them. They said they thought it belonged with the sander, for...some reason...? >_>
