I don't think so, as it was doing 330ish in the previous gearbox.

Could be a grease buildup at the front of the chamber. A build up in the front increases FPS, while one in the back decreases it. It all has to do with air seal

No, it's all clean & tidy. Made sure of it when I had the box apart.

I imagine it's a case of mis-labelled spring like Duck said, plus the old box not having as good a seal.
