My teacher said that the first thread on the nut is completely different from the rest, he also said the nut is an imperial thread and the receiver is a metric thread... well, f*ck. If i can't fix it, gonna need to buy a new upper receiver, which is available but £70 roughly

Upper and lower from different brands often don't fit together BTW.

TLR; Frizzle's thought he was too pro to buy a prebuilt gun, and ends up looking like a tit because he didn't do the proper research

I'm not half assing it by buying a prebuilt. Plus it's more fun building it.

There's nothing half assed about buying a gun and modifying it. 99.9% of airsofters do it.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't there an overpriced madbull or some other thread adapter for this kind of issue?
