I think it is a case of not being allowed to go for "proper" aeg and may have to slowly do it in stages/small steps until parents warm to idea. Many young players were lucky their parents were ok with it but some are not so fortunate I think
and yup it may seem painful to some of us more fortunate ones to see/answer stuff about lame ar$e stuff but not all are so lucky/rich/mad/ or allowed to go nutz with toys guns
getting on rocky risky ground here but if he was local & I met parents he could have my old B500a1 & famas springer but I can't just send it unless I met & got approval - no offense but James could be 7yr old without mum's consent so f*ck that crap
lol sitting duck. Yeah, parents said no, no......NO to airsoft. So I think its going to be a 2 year wait (until my brother is 18) before I get anything "special". when I had the chance to get the l85, as you can imagine, I jumped at the idea lol. I may still be stupid and get it lol because converted cap guns aren't the best for the next 2 years lol.
If you can have a springer L85, then surely you must also be allowed a pump action springer shotgun? You'd be better off with one. You can find 'skirmishable' ones for 30 quid, and you'd have a faster rate of fire.
Spray the clear bits black and Bob's yer uncle. I got one of those for a laugh a while back, and did that. But it's actually not bad, the tac light's a bit weedy, but it does nearly 350fps
I've already tried the shotgun, I had to use cadets as an excuse to have a chance with the l85. A shotgun, I doubt.... I'm afraid its l85 springer or nothing for 2 years lol.
