any particular sling I should get due to the sling point on the scar? Or could I just put strong keychain rings through them?

keychain rings, loops of paracord, whatever works. Failing that, the loops on the SCAR are designed to fit HK style snap hooks, though they'll take big chunks out of the paintwork.
