Same for support gunners. People think they want to be all "DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA" but when they realise they have to lug 17kg of weapon about with them they go off the idea. Pussies.

Lozart is bang on the money, people imagine scenes from movies and being the cool guy when in reality it's crawling through sh*t and not shooting at much.

take patients most people dont have... luckily i like watching people squirm and flutter about when they dont know where im shooting from.

Ya your totally right, we are lucky as we have two big lumps in our team that have heavy supports just the sniper class is almost impossible to fill.

Patients is hard to find!

Totally agree with Lozart. People see films like Commando and Rambo where they one handedly fire an LMG obliterating everything. Then in the real world they complain it's too heavy and it hurts their little arms.. People don't understand the role of a support gunner. It's not run and gun like in the movies.

Try carrying 11Kg of gear and a 7Kg rifle in a 30 degrees Celsius desert for 5 hour patrols.
