tan!! or brown like the new army issue, but not black

Brown, or if your going for the Herrick look get some Suede ones. Just be aware of what olish you use on the brown leather boots, dark tan has a tendency to turn them purple!

What I was thinking got some black ones from a surplus store at the weekend, just put my kit on doesn't look right! Any ideas on what ones to get, £30-£50 max?

Well can't say I've looked because mine were issued, and my Altberg's were £120, so a little above! I've just been issued the YDS Kestrel boots (in brown), and supposedly (though I haven't checked) there retail price is sub £50. There okay, suitable for airsofting once broken in, I wouldn't take them through STANTA on a wet January mind, not designed for that kind of hardship!

All my kit is issued didn't have to pay for it brother, got family still in, kind of raped them for about £300 worth of kit so far haha so was thinking of splashing out!

Best way!! Why pay for it when the MOD practically gives it away. Boots are a tricky one, for airsoft a pretty standard pair broken in properly will more than do, they don't need to be Brecon-proof for a Saturday afternoon skirmish!

Yea I here you Liam say I wanted Brecon proof what would I ask my cousin for? Keep on at him to take me up there, as I'm training for the French Foreign Legion, leaving next summer.

In terms of the issued brown boots available, the Altberg seem the best available. Lowa do some excellent black boots, not sure if they have adapted to the brown range yet, sure they will in time.
