well i dont know what your eight are aha. i do: Bio,chem,physics,geog,maths,english lit and lang, history,DT RM and i have about 2 exams for each subject as i am doing igcse in most
holy sh*t....... you get that many subjects..... I do technology, physics, chem, maths, english, PE, art and french, next year i'll be doing tech, physics, maths, english and (deciding between art or french)
I once did an exam for a 2nd year university Astronomy course, had never been to a lecture and only manages to borrow someones notes for 1 hr. I got higher marks than the guy who I borrowed notes from who had been to every lecture
GCSE's are quite possibly the easiest things you will ever do, and to be honest they dont really matter outside of specialist jobs, technical jobs in the army or restricitng what A levels you can pick. I've only ever been asked about my GCSE's once, and as long as you get a c in them you'll qualify for most A levels, unless someone with a higher one gets preference due to limited space, so bumlick your future teachers if you're attending your school's sixthform!
