No, but that's different. You know when you're hoovering and you know when you're firing. Hoovering is about.... once every 2 week for about 15 min, while I shoot my gun multiple times a week and a chance I could damage their property.
There shouldn't be any chance that you shooting can damage their property- you're definitely in the wrong if that's the case. Ignore them, they can't do anything about it, probably just being difficult, so long as you're playing with it safely who cares, a bit of noise never hurt anyone- so long as you're doing it at reasonable times of day.
