I'd take a big bottle of water as it's pretty easy to get dehydrated.

Unless you're gonna go the whole hog with a webbing set, leave out the water bottle on the belt mate, will pull your trousers down and won't be balanced 
water bottle should be fine left in the safe zone, your site will probably sell water/coke etc, most ive been to offer free tea and coffee also! Stay moving and try not to get bogged down in one place and you'll be fine
