Life is 9.9v and Lipos are either 7.4v or 11.2v. Life you are very limited on type you can buy.

What NiMH battery is a 9.9V Li-Fe roughly equivalent to?

sorry 11.1 finger slip there, and none from what I know off. They say a 7.4v Li-Po is the same as a 9.6v NiMh but I don't think that's true I have both of those for my AEG's and they clearly run better and smoother on the 9.6v

But what mAh are they both? That makes quite a large difference, if I use a 9.6V 1600mAh in my M16, it doesn't work, but if I use an 8.4V 3700mAh, it gets about 23 RPS

Mah is purely how long the battery will last nothing more so if a 9.6 doesn't work then its too powerful for your m16 so a life battery defo wont work

No, mAh is not purely how long they'll last. I've tested this.

Liam - this might be better as a thread if you are trying to compare two batteries. It'll come down to the specifications of it, mah, C, voltage rather than just the technology (life/lipo)
