    I've owned some. Nope. 100% not worth it

    They look great. But still fog up like a bitch. Also they are not helmet compatible unless you have goggle straps on your helmet.

    BF3(on PC at least) was still randomly dropping you out of the game in the weeks leading up to BF4 but people seem to forget that.

    Fortunately the crashes aren't so bad for me and it runs smoother than BF3 did.

    Escoterick your lucky mate, it did it to me 3 times in 20mins last night i gave up on the 5th crash at around 40mins of trying to play was doing my head in. I might actually have to stop playing and talk to the Mrs!!

    Yeah it's weird, it's a bit like Fallout where it crashes constantly for some and rarely for other people. Main issue I have is where it does that stupid could not connect thing with the red bar saying reconnect. I had to wait for the server to change maps last night to fix it as I was playing with mates.

    Some people have told me it's amazing, but most just say they over subscribe it a lot of the time and it turns into a mass of shitty stalemates.

    More about the money than the experience as far as what I've heard.

    I want to see for myself before I pass judgement though.

    I like it. It's basically my home site if you will as it's just up the road. The games on Thursday nights are usually less busy so can be more fun. There was 100 people there on Sunday with a high %age of total noobs which never helps in a CQB environment. Give it a go, you might just like it!

    As for the stalemates - if there's a lot of people not willing to get shot a bit then yeah, there's a few chokepoints. Getting together with someone that knows the layout helps an awful lot. First time out you WILL get lost in the basement corridors! :)

    get after effects and the action essential effect package. If you guys don't know what it is, then googl... i mean bing it and you'll find that they'll have amazing premade effects for almost every situation. Brilliant bits of kit.
