If you're staying in University accommodation I'm going to state the obvious: don't bring them there at all.

How am I supposed to survive almost a year without airsoft?

I think it's better not to take guns into uni or any school at all... my teacher mistook my airsoft gearbox for a fully assembled airsoft gunand he was not very happy....

All I will say is.... find a concealed area (house, or your own private area) and store them there

At least 1 is coming with me, I have no problem hiding them and then explaining to someone what they are/why they are there etc. if someone of importance finds out/asks questions. It's just a matter of when they're coming with me, first day or a few weeks after when I return home to get anything I will inevitably forget.

Every Uni in this land will have students who airsoft, storing their guns and kit in their accommodation.

My society lot all just keep it boxed up under their bed or whatever, no issues yet. A security guard even thought they were awesome when they he came around doing room checks.
